Civil Supervisor Join MC Group QLD – A Trusted North Queensland Contractor MC Group is a reputable North Queensland contracting company specialising in civil construction, bulk haulage, quarrying, mining services and crushing. Since commencing operations in 2017, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and supplying and transporting raw materials across Queensland and remote regions, including Cape York, the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Northern Territory. We operate quarries at Mowbray, Nolan's, Warwombie, Gingerella, Gainsford, Marathon and Mt Garnet, with our main operational base located in Mossman, North Queensland. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of existing and upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team. About you Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of civil construction supervision experience. Specific experience required includes road construction, earthworks, drainage, bulk haulage, and quarrying operations. Candidates must demonstrate experience in most of these operational areas. A valid White Card is essential for this position. Based in Mossman , this role may require travel to other project sites and DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) work as operational and business needs require. The successful candidate must be available for regular commitment to DIDO work arrangements. Essential certifications include White Card (Construction Induction) which must be held at the time of application, All relevant RII Tickets (Loader, Excavator, Skid Steer, etc.), First Aid (desirable), Supervisor training (desirable), certificate 3 in civil construction Key Responsibilities Supervise daily civil construction activities on site Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, and materials Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to spec Interpret plans and manage on-site delivery Maintain site safety, quality, and productivity standards Liaise with project managers and engineers Keep site operations organised and progressing efficiently
